Gov’t: Students To Break For Mid Term On 19th November

The government has announced that learners will break for mid term break on the 19th day of November 2021. The four day break will go a long way in easing the tension in among students that had seen rising arson attacks in schools.

In a circular dated 1st November 2021, basic education permanent secretary stated that learners will report back from home on Tuesday 23rd November, 2021.

“It has been decided that the half term break will commence on Friday, 19th November, 2021. The students will report back on Tuesday 23rd November, 2021″, said Julius O. Jwan who is basic education permanent secretary

According to ministry of education, the mid term break will only affect secondary schools. He further directed all regional and county directors of education to see to it that reaches all school heads in their area of jurisdiction.

“You are required to bring this information to the attention of all Principals of Secondary Schools within your area of jurisdiction,” said education PS.
