KMTC Rera Campus Background information and location

Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) – Rera Campus is one of the 71 constituent campuses of KMTC. It was established in September 2015 as a collaboration between the National Government- Gem Constituency Development Fund and the KMTC Board of Directors. KMTC Rera Campus is located in Gem Sub County, Siaya County about 50 km west of Kisumu City off the Kisumu-Bondo road.

KMTC Rera Campus Facilities

The facilities available at KMTC Rera Campus include:

• A well-stocked library for study and research.

KMTC Rera Campus Clinical experience sites

The students at KMTC Rera Campus use various hospitals and health centers within the county and neighbouring counties for clinical experiences. In addition, other health facilities in the rest of the country are used as clinical experience sites.

KMTC Rera Campus Clubs, societies and sports

The administration at KMTC Rera Campus encourages its students to take part in extracurricular activities since it is not only important for their physical health but also their mental health. The clubs available at the campus include Seventh Day Adventist, Young Christian Association, Muslim Association, Christian Union and Environmental Club. The sporting activities available in the campus include football, netball, basketball, rugby, table tennis and athletics.
