List of constituencies in Trans Nzoia County, Registered Voters, Current MPs and Wards

Trans Nzoia County is a county that is located in the Rift Valley. The county borders borders Uganda to the North West, West Pokot County to North, Elgeyo Marakwet County to the East,Uasin Gishu County  and Kakamega County to the South, and Bungoma County to the West and South West.

Trans Nzoia County has an area of 2,495.2 KM² and as per the 2019 Census, the population of Trans Nzoia County was nine hundred and ninety thousand, three hundred and forty five (990,345) people. Trans Nzoia County has an annual growth rate of 4.2%.

In the 2017 General Elections, Trans Nzoia County had a total number of three hundred and thirty nine thousand seven hundred and fifteen (339,715) registered voters.

The Governor of Trans Nzoia County is H.E Patrick Khaemba and the Trans Nzoia County senator is Mbito Michael Maleng’a . The Women Representative of Trans Nzoia County is H.E Janet Nangabo Wanyama.

Trans Nzoia County is divided into five (5) constituencies and twenty five electoral wards. The Constituencies include Cherangany Constituency, Kiminini, Saboti, Kwanza and Endebess. Below is the list if the five constituencies, Members of Parliament per constituency, wards and number of voters.

Kwanza Constituency 

Hon. Ferdinand Kevin Wanyonyi is the current Kwanza Constituency Member of Parliament. Kwanza Constituency has four wards which include; Kapomboi, Kwanza, Keiyo and Bidii. It had 65,643 registered voters in the 2017 General Elections.

Endebes Constituency 

Endebes Constituency is represented Hon. Robert Pukose. It has three wards which include; Chepchoina, Endebess and Matumbei. The Constituency had 43,189 registered voters in the 2017 elections.

Saboti Constituency

The Member of Parliament of Chepalungu Constituency is Hon. Caleb Amisi Luyai. The Constituency has five wards which include; Kinyoro, Matisi, Tuwani, Saboti and Machewa. It had 76,895 voters in the 2017 General Elections.

Kiminini Constituency

Hon. Chrisantus Wamalwa Wakhungu is the Kiminini parliamentary representative. Its wards are six and they include; Kiminini, Waitaluk, Sirende, Hospital, Sikhendu and Nabiswa. It had 77,482 registered voters in the 2017 General Elections.

Cherengany Constituency

Hon. Joshua Serem Kutuny is the current Cherengany Constituency Member of Parliament. Cherengany Constituency has seven wards which include; Sinyerere, Makutano, Kaplamai, Motosiet, Cherangany/ Suwerwa, Chepsiro/ Kiptoror and Sitatunga. It had 76,506 registered voters in the 2017 General Elections.
