Ruaraka Academy Fees Structure 2020

Ruaraka Academy is a Christian based mixed private day school running in accordance with the City Council and Ministry of Education requirements. Founded in 1988, the school follows the old 8.4.4. Education system and the newly introduced 2.6.6.3 system.

Karanja Esther Wangu was the best student in St. Marys Ruaraka Academy in KCPE 2019. She scored 432 marks out of the possible 500 marks. The school prides itself of a mean of 388.98 in KCPE 2019 Results.

Admission requirements

•  Parents should be in agreement with the goals and follow, rules and regulations of Ruaraka Academy (defined here and in the application form)
• No fresh admission into class 6, 7 and 8

Play-Group

• The child should be 3 years by December 31st of previous year
• Pay a non-refundable fee of Ksh 10,000
•  for every application form per child
•  Original application form and receipt on admission day
• Copy of the child’s birth certificate

Others (Pre-primary/primary)

• Pay a non-refundable fee of Ksh 10,000 for every application form per child
• Academic School Reports from previous school
•  Copy of the child’s birth certificate
• Willingness to take a class placement test

Ruaraka Academy Rules and Regulation for fee payment

• School fees are payable in advance through cheque or cash paid directly to the school bank accounts indicated and the slip with the details presented to the school office for recording.
• Fees are due on or before the first day of the school term.
• Fees are payable in 3 instalments. 1st by first day of school term, 2nd and 3rd by 5th of the next months.
• Children whose fees are not cleared on time will be sent away from school
• Fees are not refundable in cases of absence from school through illness, accident, vacation or leave, suspension or expulsion.
• Total responsibility of fees payment rests with the parent/guardian. Where the fees are paid by an employer sponsor or third party, it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure that this undertaking is clearly understood and duly signed by the said
  employer or third party. The parent/guardian undertakes to indemnify the school against any claim, loss or damage to the school arising from a question of authority of the undertaking.
